How and when to obtain test results from the surgery
Blood Tests
By appointment only or please attend the Royal Free Hospital (Phlebotomy):
- Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays): 7:30am to 5:30pm
- or on Saturday morning: 9:00am to 1.00pm.
You are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the clinic closes.

Request My Test Results
Access your results online using Patient Access
If you have recently had a blood test, x-ray, or any other type of investigation, and would like to know the results, please phone the Practice to discuss further after 1:00pm. The Patient Services Team are able to give you normal results or results that do not require any further action from the clinical team (certain test may have values that are just outside the normal range and therefore the clinician may feel that these results do not need any further action).
We do not routinely contact patients if their results are normal.
The clinician that requested your test may contact you if the result is abnormal or they need to discuss the result with you. If they need to discuss the result with you they may ask you to book a non urgent, routine follow up telephone appointment or a results line appointment.
A clinician will contact you directly if there is any result that needs urgent follow up.
